Since 2017 our training methodology of youth training is based on activities that promote learning in practice, from real situations. The strategy is to invest in a concise and quality training so that those served by the program become multiplier agents of transformation.
Our main goal is to broaden young people's vision of vocation, skills and interests, and to connect them with the trends of the work world and life in society. We work to form creative, proactive youth and protagonists of their own stories.
Altogether, the Program lasts two years and the Post-Program lasts one year, which includes mentoring and employability, which gives the young people the follow-up of a professional to support them in the first challenges of the job market.
To reach these results, the Reciclar Program is based on four main pillars:
Creative Solutions Workshops: It is at the heart of the program's methodology. It allows to integrate, in practice, knowledge from several areas, having real problems of the community as a starting point.
Life Project: In this workshop, the young person receives support for the choice of profession and the technical course, in addition to defining their plan for building a solid career.
Technical Course: From their Life Project, the young person starts a technical course, next to the reference schools, in their area of interest, fully funded by Reciclar.
Mentoring and Employability Support: To support young people early in their professional career, Reciclar provides a mentor for each young person: an experienced professional who will guide choices and challenges, helping them to make adjustments to the life project.
> Ability to develop projects
> Competence to work in a network and in a collaborative way
> Wide world view
> Qualified technical training
> Solid human formation
The selection of young people for the Reciclar Program is held annually through two face-to-face meetings.
Throughout the process, adolescents have the opportunity to get to know their skills better, connect with other young people who are also participating in the process, and reflect on the lessons learned during the experience and celebrate the achievements.
All the activities carried out during the selection period are accompanied by a selection committee, allowing the Reciclar Institute to know more about each young person's profile and to select those who have the will and determination to build a solid career.
We are looking for young people with strong will and bright eyes, who want to dedicate their time and energy to a solid formation and who want to develop their potential to conquer a future of success!
To participate in the selection process you must:
Be up to 16 years old;
Be a high school student in public schools;
Live in the region of Jaguaré and surroundings.
We are headquartered and concentrate our activities in Jaguaré, a neighborhood in the western part of the city of São Paulo. The region for action was chosen due to the high degree of vulnerability and social risk, in addition to population concentration.
Since 2017, we have expanded our area of activity and started to serve young people coming from various public schools in São Paulo.
